Terms of sale

Last updated 25 July 2026

These terms cover buying Parallax Search from this website. They’re written to be read, not to be survived. If anything here is unclear, email us before you buy and we’ll explain it in plain words.

These are business-to-business terms. Parallax Search is sold to businesses for business purposes, not to consumers.

Who you’re buying from

Parallax Thinking Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under number 16344822, with its registered office at 90 Florence Road, Poole, Dorset, BH14 9JF. You can reach us at hello@parallax-thinking.com.

We aren’t registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged and none of our prices include it.

We sell to businesses

Parallax Search is sold to businesses for business purposes only. It isn’t sold to consumers, and by buying it you confirm you’re buying for the purposes of your trade, business or profession.

That matters because the statutory rights that protect consumers buying at a distance, including the fourteen-day right to change your mind, don’t apply to a business purchase. Your rights are the ones set out in these terms.

What you get

For £1,200 we establish what your business already runs on, connect those sources into one live dashboard, build that dashboard with a walkthrough inside it that explains your own numbers, and write the read that sits on top of it. Those sources typically include your booking system, your telephone, your analytics and your advertising accounts, and which of them apply depends on your business. The first three months of the service are included in that price, counted from the day your dashboard goes live, along with a strategy call.

After those three months, £200 a month continues the service: the dashboard stays live and maintained, you get a written analysis added to your dashboard each month, and you get an hour on the phone each quarter. You can also ask us for changes to what your dashboard shows. We’ll handle reasonable requests at our discretion, and we’ll tell you plainly if something is beyond that.

We don’t run the marketing we measure. That’s deliberate, and it’s why the read is free to tell you that the money isn’t working.

When the contract starts, and when we do

The contract is made when your payment is accepted and we confirm it. We then ask you for read-only access to the accounts we need.

We aim to have your dashboard live within five working days, counted from when that access is granted, not from when you pay. We can’t start until we can see your accounts, so if access is delayed the date moves with it. If we’re going to miss five working days for any reason of our own, we’ll tell you rather than let the date pass quietly.

What we need from you

Read-only access to the sources that hold your numbers, which may include your booking system, your telephone records, your analytics and your advertising accounts, and the authority to grant it. We change nothing in your accounts, and you can withdraw access at any time.

Bookings that reach you by telephone are matched to the channel that produced them, so they stop being invisible in the dashboard. Where your phone setup can’t support that, we’ll tell you honestly what it would take rather than leave a hole in the numbers.

Some sources can’t be connected automatically, a booking diary or client list kept in a spreadsheet being the common case. We build from those too, but a dashboard drawing on them is refreshed on a schedule we agree with you rather than continuously, and we’ll tell you which of your sources that applies to before we build.

Refunds

Full refund any time before we start work, no reason needed. Work starts when you grant access, so until then your money comes back in full.

That’s the line, and it’s a line you control: until you have granted us access to your accounts, nothing has been built. Email us and we’ll return the £1,200 to the card you paid with.

After that, because the work is being done for you specifically, the £1,200 isn’t refundable. If something has gone wrong, tell us and we’d far rather fix it.

Cancelling the monthly service

The £200 a month rolls on month to month. You can cancel at any time, with no notice period and nothing further to pay. Email us and we’ll stop it.

Cancelling stops future payments. It doesn’t refund a month already taken, and your dashboard stops being maintained at the end of the period you have paid for.

Your data, and your patients

No patient-identifiable or customer-identifiable data enters the dashboard, from any source. It holds counts, costs and rates, never names.

Your accounts remain yours. Where we handle personal data on your behalf we act as your processor, and a data processing agreement is available on request. How we handle personal data of our own is set out in our privacy notice.

What this is not

Parallax Search is a measurement and advisory service. It isn’t regulated financial, legal or medical advice, and the read is our professional opinion on your numbers, not a guarantee of a result.

We report what your own platforms and booking system tell us. Where those sources are incomplete or wrong, the dashboard will show it and say so, but we can’t make data exist that was never collected.

If something goes wrong

We’ll perform the service with reasonable care and skill.

Neither of us is liable to the other for loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of anticipated savings, or any indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability to you in connection with this contract is limited to the total amount you have paid us under it in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes to these terms

The terms that apply to your purchase are the ones published on this page on the day you bought. If we change them, the change applies to purchases made after it, not to yours.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
