Scott Morgan
I’m Scott Morgan, and I founded Parallax Thinking. Before that I spent a decade leading brand strategy inside Jaguar and Range Rover, on the Jaguar rebrand and on the work to establish Range Rover as a brand in its own right rather than a model line. The strategy you get is mine, and I’m the one you’ll be dealing with throughout. Where a piece of work needs a specialist, I bring one in.
Why Parallax exists
The realisation crept up on me slowly. I was working inside a business of forty thousand people, and the way I was looking at problems, which felt like the only sensible way to look at them, kept turning out to be a way that nobody else in the room was looking at them. That got noticed, first by senior directors and eventually by people on the executive board, and it put me on projects well above my pay grade, including leading brand strategy for Range Rover as it stepped out of being a model line and became a brand of its own.
At some point doing that inside one building stopped being enough. I wanted to bring the way I think to businesses that would actually feel the difference, and I narrowed in on brand marketing because it’s exactly where the things I love meet: design, technology, and brands themselves.
Track record
- Ten years in brand strategy inside Jaguar and Range Rover.
- The Jaguar rebrand.
- Range Rover established as a brand in its own right, rather than a model line.
- Since founding Parallax: private healthcare, online fashion, financial services, and growing.
- One example. A private physiotherapy practice was spending £1,100 a month on Google Ads. Bookings were coming in steadily, but not one of them could be traced back to the advertising. The practice was growing, and the ad budget wasn’t the reason.
How I work
- Prices are published. You can see what things cost before you speak to me.
- No long-term retainers.
- Your data stays yours.
- I don’t run the advertising I measure, because I’d be marking my own homework.
- I won’t hand your work to someone more junior than the person you hired.
- I won’t take work where I can’t see the numbers, because I’d only be guessing and you’d be paying for it.
